Then I copied the files to a TF card and put them in my player and they are all still showing the wrong cover art. I went through them all in MP3Tag and removed the cover art from all of the ones that were incorrect. About 6 of them show the correct album cover art. Removing coverart from a flac file requires an extra tool to access the (little) extra space as otherwise the new space is used as padding and you don't see any of it. If you want to manipulate specific data in a file, you have to address this data by the field name. Is there any advice on why I should not remove album art from individual tracks?
